Marco Abalroado

Marco Abalroado is an experienced banking and financial services professional, currently serving as the President of the Advisory Board for the Mozambique Banking Association since June 2023. Previously held the role of Country Managing Director for subsidiaries at Access Bank Plc since January 2019 and is the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Mozambique from April 2020 to January 2025. Marco's extensive background includes leadership positions at Moza Banco, where responsibilities encompassed marketing, digital innovation, and payments, as well as operations and IT roles at Novo Banco. Earlier experience includes being a Senior Consultant at Accenture and roles at Millennium Bcp and Banco Espírito Santo. Marco holds advanced management and leadership degrees from Harvard Business School and a master's degree from ISCTE Business School.
