Tie Ge started their work experience in 2002 at MobileSoft as a Software Engineer, where they developed a Telephony server for the mFone linux platform. Tie was responsible for framework design and led a team to create a solution for different RF modules. Tie then joined ACCESS in 2005 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on porting and developing Linux drivers for a hardware platform. Tie'sdriver experience included LCD, RF Modem, Camera, ALSA, and Power Management. In 2007, they became an Engineer Manager at ACCESS, where they developed a streaming protocol for a mobile phone product. Tie was responsible for implementation and testing according to the specifications of China Telecom. Most recently, in 2012, they joined Cisco Systems as a Senior Software Engineer.
Tie Ge completed a Bachelor's degree in Environment Control from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Automation Control from the same university between 1999 and 2002.
