Kimi Ellen

Kimi Ellen, CPA, currently serves as a Council Member at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) since May 2024. Concurrently, Kimi holds multiple leadership roles at Access Community Health Network, including Board Member, Chair of the Finance Committee, and Chair of the CEO Search Committee. Additionally, Kimi is the National Director and Audit Committee Chairman at NABA INC. and a Board Member of the Illinois CPA Society. Kimi is also the Chairman of the Board for the Diverse Organization of Firms. As Managing Partner and CEO of Benford Brown & Associates, LLC, Kimi has led significant audit and consulting projects and co-founded the firm. Kimi has extensive experience in internal auditing and finance, having previously served as President of the Board for the Southeast Chicago Chamber of Commerce and in various internal auditor roles. Kimi holds a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
