Previously, Mausami worked as a Consultant with Tata Trusts on the Menstrual Health Management program, promoting training on reusable cloth pads and hygiene practices. Additionally, Mausami held the position of State Program Coordinator at SEWA Bharat for eight years, contributing to the organization's mission to support poor, self-employed women workers. Mausami holds a degree in Rural Management from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
