Syed Faisal Qadri

Syed Faisal Qadri has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Syed Faisal began their career at Cyberaccess Internet in 2000, where they served as an Assistant Operations Manager. In this role, they assisted in managing daily operations and created standard operating procedures.

In 2002, Qadri joined Cyberaccess e-Business as an Assistant Manager Operations. Here, they played a crucial role in deploying and maintaining the first shared point-of-sale infrastructure in Pakistan. Syed Faisal also designed LAN and WAN networks, and successfully implemented them with a team of experts.

Qadri then moved on to Alpha Data - Dubai in 2005, taking up the position of Account Manager. Syed Faisal worked extensively on pre-sales and sales activities for a wide range of products, including Cisco, Nortel, Juniper, Antlabs, and Extreme Networks. Syed Faisal'sresponsibilities included providing network consultation, designing complex networks, and creating proposals for networking and security solutions.

From 2006 to 2008, Qadri worked as a Senior Account Manager at Access Group, focusing on generating sales for various products such as Cisco, Fundamo Mobile Banking, iDirect vsat, Safenet security, Oracle Siebel CRM, and Hypercom POS. Syed Faisal successfully launched the first iDirect Broadband Satellite service product in Pakistan and identified new market segments to drive sales.

For the next six years, Qadri held the position of Business Manager - Technology at Access Group. Syed Faisal conducted technical sessions with customers, designed IT solutions based on their requirements, and advocated for enhancements and new offerings. Syed Faisal also maintained strong relationships with current customers and provided advice on IT strategy and policy.

Qadri's most recent role was Head IT Operations at Access Group, from 2014 to 2017. Syed Faisal managed the deployments and operations of third-party POS solutions/services for online loyalty programs and innovative financial services. Syed Faisal also oversaw the Mobile Financial Services Platform, providing mobile and branchless banking services for various banks.

In 2017, Qadri transitioned to the role of Head of Pre-Sales/PS - Cybersecurity at Access Group. Here, they actively support pre-sales activities by providing product, business, and technical knowledge. Syed Faisal conducts research on new security products, prepares strategic bid responses, and advises customers on business models and technologies to achieve their objectives.

Syed Faisal Qadri completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Commerce from Karachi University, which they attended from 1994 to 1996. From 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Al-Khair University.
