Aron Lanie, CTRS, LRT, is a dedicated professional in the field of recreational therapy and adaptive sports, currently serving as the Project SOAR Program Coordinator at ACCESS of Wilmington since July 2022. This program focuses on adaptive sports for veterans living with service-connected illness or injury, offering activities such as archery, cycling, and kayaking. With extensive experience in yoga instruction since August 2016, Lanie has worked to create community partnerships and deliver yoga classes to underserved populations. Previous roles include Program Assistant and Yoga and Meditation Teacher with Warriors at Ease, where Lanie integrated yoga into military settings, and a Recreational Therapy Intern at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Lanie's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a BA in Fine Arts from Purdue University.
