Having spent time in the public sector, commercial arena and a multilateral organisation, she has developed wide-ranging experience in macroeconomic research and analysis, strategy development and monitoring, and project management.
Prior to joining Access Partnership, Hui Yi worked at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), developing and executing business strategies to unlock new capital and new technologies to finance sustainable infrastructure. Before AIIB, Hui Yi worked as an economics and policy consultant for government agencies and private sector companies, and at the Central Bank of Malaysia. During this time, she led work on a variety of issues, including macroeconomic forecasting, productivity and growth, international trade, energy sector regulation, public sector efficacy, and financial sector development.
Hui Yi holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
