Richard Scruggs

Richard Scruggs has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1996. Richard began their career as COO of RothWell Systems, a systems integrator with a focus on object oriented technology. In 1996, they were also a co-founder of Align Solutions Corp., one of the first internet professional services companies in the US. Richard then moved on to become Vice President and Director of Luminant Worldwide, an internet professional services company providing services from strategy through systems development. In 1999, they became President & CEO and Director of Salient Pharmaceuticals Incorporated, a company that was formed to develop an all-natural compound as a drug to prevent and/or treat severe diarrhea associated with cancer treatment, infectious disease and certain chronic GI conditions. In 2003, they became Owner of Winston Sage Partners, a consulting and business management company. In 2015, they became Chief Executive Officer of PinnacleART, a leading technology and services provider specializing in Mechanical Integrity and Risk Based Inspection program implementation. Richard then moved on to become Managing Vice President of Pariveda Solutions, a strategy and solutions consultancy that focuses on developing exceptional talent to solve clients' most complex and valuable business problems. Finally, in 2019, they became Director of Access Sciences.

Richard Scruggs attended Texas A&M University from 1973 to 1977 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Richard then returned to Texas A&M University from 1977 to 1979 and obtained a Master of Business Administration in Business.
