Jonathan Smalley

Jonathan Smalley has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jonathan started their career at Novell, where they worked their way up from a Support Tech to the Director of Consulting Services over a period of thirteen years. After Novell, Jonathan held sales and sales engineering roles at Altiris and Siebel Systems. In 2002, they became a Managing Partner at Profit Faucets, LLC, before moving on to work as the VP of Marketing at Nastel Technologies. In 2005, Jonathan joined LANDesk Software, Inc. as the Director of Eastern North American. Jonathan then worked as a Senior Account Manager at Gartner before transitioning to School Improvement Network, where they took on the roles of Technology Integration Manager and later, Director of Product Management. Currently, Jonathan is working at Access Softek as a Scrum/Agile Coach and Scrum Master, and had previously served as a Development Manager. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated leadership and expertise in implementing agile methodologies, improving product development and delivery processes, and building strategic relationships with clients.

Jonathan Smalley received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the following: Certified SAFe 5 Practitioner (obtained in June 2020), Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master (obtained in May 2020), Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (obtained in April 2020), Certified SAFe 5 Agilist (obtained in March 2020), Practical Product Management (obtained in March 2013), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) (obtained in January 2011).
