Vlad Petrushin

Vlad Petrushin has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Vlad currently works as a Penetration Tester at SRC Security Research and Consulting GmbH, where they perform security assessments and vulnerability assessments of payment processing systems for compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Prior to this, they worked as a Web Application Security Tester at Access Softek, where they conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web applications. Vlad collaborated with web developers and stakeholders to implement security controls and best practices.

Vlad also has experience at EPAM Systems, where they held various roles including Infrastructure Security Systems Engineer and Senior Security Systems Engineer. In these roles, they conducted penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits for networks, applications, and operating systems. Vlad also worked on AWS security assessments and developed security features in Terraform for AWS.

Before EPAM Systems, Vlad worked at Defense Initiatives as a Penetration Tester and Security Specialist, where they focused on conducting security testing and assessments.

Additionally, they worked at Trionis as a Security Specialist, Penetration Tester, and System Administrator, where they conducted penetration testing, risk assessments, and provided technical support.

Vlad's earlier work experience includes roles as a Windows System Administrator and IT Consultant at Saturn-2 and as a Programmer at Atlant.

Vlad Petrushin pursued their education in Software Information Technology from 2002 to 2006 at BTBIP, where they obtained a degree in Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Vlad also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Vlad earned the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification in February 2021 from Offensive Security. In June 2013, they completed the CEH2: Advanced Penetration Testing and Security Analysis certification and the CEH: Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing certification, both from EC-Council. Moreover, in March 2012, Vlad obtained the Android Foundation certification from Bigsoft.
