Matthew Pearson

Matthew Pearson is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Northern Light Health since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew completed Level II fieldwork at Rehab 3 at Marsh Brook, focusing on outpatient hand therapy, where competencies in evaluating and treating upper extremity injuries were developed under the guidance of certified hand therapists. Additionally, Level II fieldwork was conducted at Maine Veterans' Home, enhancing skills in treating patients with conditions such as hip arthroplasty and dementia. Matthew's experience also includes a significant tenure at The Nonantum Resort, where responsibilities included training staff and event management, complemented by quality control duties at Abbott. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Health Wellness and Occupational Studies.
