Emma Cahuzac is an experienced professional in the field of public health and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the New Programmes Research Coordinator at the Access to Medicine Foundation since June 2022. In this role, Emma supports various programmes aimed at improving access to essential medicines in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to this, Emma worked as a Scientist in Epidemiology at the UK Health Security Agency, focusing on vaccine-preventable diseases and surveillance of severe acute respiratory infections, including COVID-19. Emma's background includes extensive experience at GSK, where responsibilities spanned multiple regulatory roles, including leading strategies for oncology and respiratory product submissions. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath, complemented by an industrial placement at Yale University.
