Marcello Britto

Marcello Britto is a Corporate Engagement Officer at the Access to Medicine Foundation, responsible for developing and implementing strategic engagement plans with innovative biopharmaceutical companies in relation to the Access to Medicine Index. Previously, Marcello served as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer at Health Canada, where regulatory processes were carried out related to substances and products under the Food and Drugs Act. Additional experience includes roles as a Screening Officer at the Public Health Agency of Canada, a Research Assistant at The University of Tokyo focusing on DNA editing technologies, and a Research Assistant at CHUM, where involvement in clinical trials and academic presentations took place. Academically, Marcello holds a Master's degree in Medical Science with a focus on Global Health from Karolinska Institutet, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Physiology from the University of Toronto.
