James Biggins

CEO, President & Founder at Access Vascular

James Biggins is the CEO, President, and Founder of Access Vascular. James has over 18 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Biggins started their career as a product development engineer at Medtronic in 2002. James then moved to Boston Scientific in 2006, where they worked on product development for two years. In 2008, they joined Ocular Therapeutix as engineering manager for new product development.

In 2013, Biggins left Ocular Therapeutix to join Fikst as business development manager. James was with Fikst for two and a half years before returning to Access Vascular in 2015.

Under Biggins’ leadership, Access Vascular has become a leading provider of minimally invasive vascular access devices. The company’s products are used by hospitals and clinics around the world.

James Biggins has a MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts Lowell. James also went to Waltham High school.

Paul MacNeill - Senior Director of Finance, Anastasia Mironova - VP of Strategy & Marketing, and Brian Hanley - VP of R&D & Operations report to James Biggins.
