Ayah Chehade

Ayah Chehade is a skilled Clinical Therapist and Researcher at ACCESS - Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, where responsibilities include providing culturally competent care and pioneering trauma-informed group therapy for refugees. With a background in multimedia projects as a Freelance Writer, Photographer, and Video Editor, Ayah has collaborated with various international non-profits and small businesses. Previous experience includes serving as a Community Historian at the Arab American National Museum, where oral histories were recorded and archived, and as a Media Program Manager at the Zakat Foundation of America, producing impactful storytelling content for humanitarian initiatives. Ayah holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by participation in the NeXtDoc Fellowship program.
