Lennie Pennisi, LMSW, is a clinical professional with extensive experience in behavioral health settings. Currently serving as Clinical Supervisor, Coordinator of Behavioral Health, and Therapist at ACCESS - Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services since February 2019, Lennie has developed a strong foundation in mental health care. Previously, Lennie gained valuable experience as a Clinical Social Work Intern at St. Vincent Catholic Charities from July 2016 to April 2017. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, both obtained from Michigan State University, with the master's degree completed between 2016 and 2017 and the bachelor's degree earned from 2012 to 2016.

ACCESS (Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services) has been serving the community for more than 47 years. Founded by a group of dedicated volunteers in 1971 out of a storefront in Dearborn’s impoverished south end, ACCESS was created to assist the Arab immigrant population adapt to life in the United States. Today, ACCESS is the largest Arab American community nonprofit in the United States. With 11 locations and more than 120 programs serving metro Detroit, ACCESS offers a wide range of social, economic, health and educational services to a diverse population.
