Abhishek Kumar

Abhishek Kumar has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Abhishek is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at AccessHope since June 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at City of Hope, starting from Senior Project Manager from November 2015 to March 2019, then as a Manager from March 2019 to January 2020, and finally as the Director of IT Services for AccessHope from January 2020 onwards. At City of Hope, they provided leadership in IT software management and technical operations, oversaw IT solutions and Salesforce applications, and facilitated process improvement initiatives.

Before joining City of Hope, Abhishek briefly worked as a Senior Engineer at Onestop Internet in 2015. Prior to that, they had a significant tenure at Persistent Systems, starting as a Software Engineer in 2005 and eventually becoming a Salesforce Consultant from July 2014 to July 2015 and a Senior Team Lead from March 2007 to June 2014. At Persistent Systems, they designed and implemented software solutions, delivered time-sensitive applications, and provided mentorship to their team members.

Abhishek began their career as a Software Engineer at SPI in 2005, where they designed and implemented software features, debugged existing source code, and improved feature sets.

Abhishek Kumar studied at IIIT Kolkata from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Rajendra Vidyalaya for their high school education.

In terms of additional certifications, Abhishek obtained the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in March 2019. Abhishek also holds the Master Project Manager (MPM) certification from the AAPM (American Academy of Project Management), which they obtained in September 2014. Additionally, Abhishek has a Diploma in Project Management from ALISON - Free Online Learning. Abhishek has also completed certifications in HIPAA Compliance, Salesforce Developer, and Scrum Master, although specific details about the institutions and dates of completion are not provided.
