Nancy Conneely has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Community Rehabilitation Support Worker at May Institute, providing support services to clients with mental illnesses. In 2004, they transitioned to a Paralegal role at Tucker, Heifetz & Saltzman, LLP, assisting attorneys in liability litigation. From 2006 to 2007, Nancy served as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Education and Catholic Charities USA, conducting legal research and drafting memoranda. In 2007, they worked as a Legal Intern at The Catholic University of America, focusing on higher education and labor law research. In 2008, they served as a Legal Intern for the United States Senate's Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee, assisting with investigations and attending hearings. From 2009 to 2012, Nancy worked at Advance CTE, first as a Public Policy Manager and then as Director of Public Policy, leading advocacy efforts related to career and technical education. Nancy then moved on to the National Center on Time & Learning, where they served as a Senior Associate and Manager of Federal and State Policy, promoting expanded learning time in legislation and administrative policy. In 2015, Nancy joined AccessLex Institute as the Director of Policy and later became the Managing Director, overseeing the development of policy recommendations related to legal education. Nancy is skilled in drafting policy documents, legislative analyses, and position statements.

Nancy Conneely attended Boston Latin School from 1993 to 1997 and received a Diploma in Collegiate Prep. Nancy then pursued higher education at Stonehill College from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Nancy attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law from 2005 to 2008. During this time, they earned a Juris Doctor degree, specializing in Law. Additionally, in May 2008, they obtained a Certificate in Law and Public Policy from the same institution.

Following their education, Nancy achieved admission to the Bar in the State of Maryland in December 2008.
