Anish Kapoor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anish started their career as a Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1993 to 1996. Anish then co-founded TeleCityGroup in 1997, which grew to become Europe's largest data center operator. In this role, they led the business to rapid growth, increasing revenues from zero to over $50 million per annum in just three years.
After leaving TeleCityGroup in 2001, Kapoor worked with various start-up companies as a VC appointed Board Director, providing guidance and serving on their boards. Anish also co-founded ConceptMetro, an e-commerce business focused on male grooming trends. At ConceptMetro, they led brand creation, generated traffic through various channels, and successfully sold the business.
In 2006, Kapoor founded Yuuguu, a web conferencing and online meeting service. Anish raised $2 million in seed and VC funding and led product development and marketing until the company was acquired by Powwownow in 2010.
From 2010 to 2014, Kapoor served as a member of the Advisory Board of the UK Government's Technology Strategy Board (KTN networks). Anish contributed to supporting and growing technology innovation in the UK.
Since 2012, Kapoor has also been involved in various companies as a mentor, advisor, investor, and Non-Executive Director, providing guidance and support in their respective fields.
In 2014, Kapoor took on the role of CEO at AccessPay - Payment Automation Experts. Anish leads the company through its hyper growth phase, providing secure cloud-based payment automation and cash management solutions for small businesses, large enterprises, and banks. AccessPay's innovative SAAS platform helps companies save hundreds of thousands of dollars in payment processing costs.
