Jeltsje de Blauw

Jeltsje de Blauw is an experienced professional in the fields of food security, livelihoods, and program management, currently serving as the Food Security & Livelihoods Coordinator at Acción contra el Hambre since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jeltsje worked at Stichting SPARK for nearly eight years, holding various titles including Deputy Regional Programme Director and Regional Programme Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing multi-million euro budgets, overseeing regional programs aimed at employment and education for vulnerable populations, and maintaining stakeholder relations. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Geography from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from Leiden University. Additional experiences include field research in China and positions in communications and fundraising with several organizations.
