Jahanzeb Rahman

Jahanzeb Rahman is an accomplished professional in the fields of project management and engineering, currently serving as General Manager of Construction at ACCIONA Energía since January 2024. With extensive experience at Powerlink Queensland from October 2012 to December 2023, Jahanzeb held various leadership roles, including Project Director for Major Projects and Manager of Non-Regulated Projects. Prior to this, Jahanzeb worked at ABB as a Project Manager on significant turnkey substation projects and held the position of Lead Design Engineer at AREVA T&D, focusing on switchgear design for the Gorgon project. Jahanzeb's career began at Standards Australia, where project management encompassed standardization across multiple domains. Education includes an MBA from Queensland University of Technology and master's and bachelor’s degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UNSW and Sir Syed University, respectively. Additionally, Jahanzeb holds several professional designations, including PMP, MIEAust, CPEng, and RPEQ.
