Peter Barnard

Peter Barnard is an executive leader in energy and infrastructure delivery, currently serving as Design Director at ACCIONA, where they lead design for major transmission projects across Australia. They previously held the position of Technical Director at Mott MacDonald, shaping national strategy for the Transmission and Distribution sector. With extensive experience at SA Power Networks, Peter significantly improved team engagement and spearheaded digital transformation initiatives. Peter is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer, and completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School. They hold degrees in engineering and business administration from Flinders University and the University of South Australia, along with additional training in design thinking and corporate governance.
