Sharon Coles

Sharon Coles is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in design and project management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at ACCIONA AU & NZ since December 2020, Sharon oversees the Eastern Busway Alliance in New Zealand. Prior roles include Design Manager at Lendlease, where responsibilities encompassed managing the NSW pre-contracts team and serving as Engineering, Assurance and Quality Manager for the Blue Mountains Route Alliance. Sharon also held design management positions at Laing O'Rourke and McConnell Dowell, where contributions included regional design oversight in Western Australia and significant involvement in major projects like BHPB and FMG developments. Earlier career stages featured roles as a Structural Design Engineer at Sedgman Engineering, AECOM, and Buckland Engineering. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors from The University of Western Australia.
