Peter Birbeck

Peter Birbeck is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the IT and education sectors. Since January 2016, Peter has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Acclario IT, a software development firm based in Brisbane, where leadership responsibilities include guiding the team. Prior to this role, Peter was a Visiting Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology from 2008 to 2015, teaching various ICT and enterprise architecture courses. Peter also held the position of General Manager at RB Consultants from 1999 to 2002 and engaged in contract consulting between 1997 and 2000. Academic credentials include a PhD in IT from Queensland University of Technology (2003-2007) and an MBA in Information Systems from Nottingham Trent University (1997-1999).
