Smitha Nayak

Smitha Nayak is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at ACCO Brands since January 2021, Smitha is responsible for month-end close activities, reconciliations, inventory management partnership, fixed asset accounting, payroll accounting, and audit management, while actively engaging in automation initiatives. Previously, Smitha held various roles, including Senior Financial Accountant at Nokia, where full ownership of P&L and balance sheet was maintained, alongside coaching shared service teams. Smitha's early career includes positions as a Management Accountant at Travelex, where consolidated financial reports were prepared under IFRS standards, and as a Senior Accountant at JAS Forwarding Worldwide. With foundational experience as an ERP Consultant and Accountant, Smitha holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Mangalore University and has completed the Intermediate level in Accounting and Finance at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
