Jennifer Stratton Malamas, M.D.

Jennifer Stratton Malamas, M.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. In 1994, they worked as an Instructor of Anatomy and Physiology at Essex Community College. From 2002 to 2004, they served as an Attending Physician at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where they provided direct patient care in the emergency department and supervised residents and Physician Assistants. Jennifer then joined St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in 2007 as a Global Health Fellow, focusing on global health initiatives until 2009. In 2010, they became the Medical Student Rotation Director at St. Luke's- Roosevelt Hospital, where they coordinated the emergency medicine elective for medical students and instructed them in their clinical and didactic curriculum. Jennifer Stratton Malamas, M.D. holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Salisbury University. Jennifer completed their Master's Degree in Anatomy at the University of Maryland Baltimore in 1994. In 1999, they obtained their MD from Howard University College of Medicine. In 2009, they earned their MPH in Public Health - Population and Family Health from Columbia University.

Jennifer also holds additional certifications. In 2013, they obtained their Emergency Medicine Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine. In 2022, they completed the Jennifer Malamas Dare to Lead training program offered by Dare to Lead™ Trained. And in 2023, they graduated from The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program offered by the MMTCP Alumni Association. Additionally, they are a member of the International Coaching Federation, earning the ICF Member Badge in 2023.
