Jean-Baptiste Recher

Jean-Baptiste Recher serves as Chief Development Officer for Luxury Brands at Accor, overseeing development initiatives across the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye since November 2014. In this role, Jean-Baptiste has negotiated over 80 management and franchise agreements, securing key projects for prestigious brands such as Raffles and Fairmont, while managing complex deal structures. Previous experience includes leadership roles in development and asset management at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels and Jones Lang LaSalle, focusing on feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial modeling. Jean-Baptiste began a career in hospitality with roles at Marriott International and other hotels, and holds an MBA in Hospitality Management from ESSEC Business School, an MSc from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management.
