Caroline Beatson

Caroline is the Chief Operations Officer at Accounting Seed. She’s passionate about understanding customers’ needs and how new technologies and custom solutions can help maximize their business structures.

At Accounting Seed, she served as the company COO from 2008 to 2019, and is also an owner and member of the board of directors. As a board member, she participates in guidance and oversight for the company while serving its customers, employees, and investors. One of her strengths is understanding business processes, how people work, and how to run a business. She also identifies ways for Accounting Seed to expand its CFO/Controller-focused products and services.

Prior to Accounting Seed, Caroline focused on integrating and implementing technology solutions, like CRM, ERP, and other custom development solutions for businesses. She started her career as a programmer at IBM but soon realized that she would rather work in business management and solutions. She has consulted for the Department of Defense (DOD) and worked at a technology learning company working with Fortune 100 companies. She was the Director of a Product Development Division for a SaaS-based company specializing in the development and production of a learning management solution.

She attended Towson University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she obtained a B.S. in applied mathematics and a minor in physics. Out of the office, Caroline is an avid runner and CrossFit enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her family and golden lab.
