Alan Heppenstall

Alan Heppenstall is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software development and business strategy. As the CTO and Co-founder of Accredible since October 2012, Alan has focused on modernizing credentialing processes. Prior to this, Alan co-founded PUBme Ltd, which specialized in mobile app development, and Entrepreneurs Durham, a student-led initiative that fostered entrepreneurship within the community. Additional roles include IT Officer at NACUE, where Alan developed an e-portal, contributing to the organization's digital presence. Alan's career began as a project manager at WSIPowerontheweb, managing SEO and PPC campaigns, and Alan was instrumental in establishing Durham Student Discounts. Alan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Durham University.
