Patrick Horine has a strong background in healthcare accreditation and leadership roles. Patrick served as the Vice President of Acute Care Services at the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were the President of DNV Healthcare USA Inc. at DNV from 2013 to 2022. Patrick also held the position of Executive Vice President of Accreditation at DNV Healthcare from 2007 to 2013. Before joining DNV, they worked at Healthcare Specialists, Inc. as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1998 to 2007. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at PHS Saint Michael Hospital, including Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Business Development, and Director of Quality Improvement, from 1990 to 1998.

Patrick Horine earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Occupations Education from the University of Louisville, where they studied from 1989 to 1991. Patrick then pursued a Master's degree in Hospital and Health Administration from Xavier University, completing their studies from 1991 to 1993.
