Octavio Rodriguez

Octavio Rodriguez has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2022. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer Intern at the Monterrey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, where they developed an interactive dashboard display to show real time utility and energy consumption to visitors. Octavio then moved on to become an Assistant Estimator/Project Manager at Big Valley Metals in 2016, providing clients with estimates pertaining to steel structures and sketching steel objects and/or structures using AutoCAD. In the same year, they also worked as an Assistant Coach Freshman Boy's Soccer at El Camino Fundamental High School, creating and implementing practice plans and creating a competitive team driven environment. In 2018, they became a Web Developer at Paratransit, Inc., working with Django(Python), Vue.js(JavaScript), Laravel(PHP), HTML, CSS, AJAX, Axios, JQuery, MySQL and MSSQL. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Accrualify, Inc. Additionally, from 2017 to present, they have been a Head Coach JV Boy's Soccer at El Camino Fundamental High School, creating and implementing practices based on the team's overall skill level and deficiencies, creating an energetic and positive environment, and ingraining the program's soccer philosophy to the team's identity.

Octavio Rodriguez received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2016. Octavio attended the university from 2011 to 2016.
