Pete Goodliffe is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in the music and technology industries. Currently serving as Director of Software Development at inMusic Brands since December 2008, Pete oversees software for Akai Professional's MPC line and has held multiple leadership roles including CTO and VP of Software Development. In addition to their industry contributions, Pete is an accomplished author, having written "Becoming a Better Programmer" and "Code Craft," and regularly contributes to ACCU's C Vu magazine. With a background that includes positions as Principal Software Developer at Numark Industries and Akai Digital Group, and experience in C++ and embedded systems, Pete combines technical expertise with a passion for music, performing as a keyboard player and songwriter. Pete holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
