Peter Marissael

Peter Marissael has over 40 years of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Their most recent position was as the Director of Quality Compliance at Accuflow Systems, Inc. starting in November 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Biotechnology Consultant for their own business from 2010 to 2014. From 1992 to 2010, they held various senior leadership roles at NABI Biopharmaceuticals in Rockville, MD, including Senior Director of Facilities and Quality Assurance, Senior Director of Facilities and Operations, Director of Vaccine Manufacturing, and Associate Director of Manufacturing. Before that, they worked at Life Technologies as a Fermentation Group Leader from 1980 to 1992. Their early career included a role as a Fermentation Group Leader at the Frederick Cancer Research Center from 1976 to 1980. Throughout their career, they have managed staff, overseen operations and facilities, implemented quality systems, and led cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and improve efficiency.
