Patrik Koskenniemi

Patrik Koskenniemi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the software development field.

Patrik began their career in 2010 with Gothenburg Stad, where they worked as a Customer Services Agent for four summers, focusing on finding solutions together with customers and partner companies.

In 2014, they joined Ericsson local services as a System Development and First-Line Support, where they rebuilt an internal web-school system using PHP, JavaScript, and HTML with a SQL database.

From 2015 to 2016, Patrik worked as a Software Developer at Sendify, responsible for developing the REST API using object-oriented PHP and MySQL database.

In 2016, they joined Saab as a Consulting Java Developer, working on a desktop application that visualized airspace for operators using Java and an in-house developed framework.

Patrik then joined Cygni in 2016, as an IT Consultant selected for their trainee program. Along with their consulting assignments, they completed various trainings in architecture, design, and methodology to enhance their software development skills.

Patrik worked as a Full-stack Developer at Bisnode from 2018 to 2018, where they maintained and developed a multi-tenant web application using Java, Spring, and MariaDB.

In 2018, Patrik joined Prognos MKA as the CTO, where they led a team and developed a SaaS product for back-office operations and client-facing APIs. Patrik was responsible for deciding tools, defining requirements, and releasing the software.

Patrik then worked at Compodium Sverige as a Senior Software Developer from 2022 to 2023.

Currently, Patrik is employed as a Software Developer at Blodtrycksdoktorn, where they started in 2023.

Patrik Koskenniemi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology, from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their studentexamen in It-Kommunikation och Datasäkerhet from Portalens Gymnasium, between 2008 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, Patrik earned the Java OCA certification from Oracle in April 2018.
