Cara Bloom, CAPM, CQE has worked in the professional world since 2004. Cara began their career at BIOLIFE PLASMA SERVICES as a Phlebotomist and Lead Technician. Cara then progressed to Environmental Health Safety Representative and Center Supervisor, where they provided leadership and first-line problem solving to 40+ employees while maintaining highest standards in customer service, product quality, and employee safety. Cara also acted as a site and regional Safety Team Lead to track and trend safety issues and work with team to resolve. In 2018, they moved to Ankeny Community School District as a College and Career Readiness / Orbis Assistant, where they supported the Director of College and Career Readiness and Project Based Learning (Orbis). Cara identified areas for improvement, designed and implemented solutions within departmental processes and procedures, and served as a SME for Lean activities and tools as well as Project Management practices. In 2019, they joined Accumold as a Quality Engineer.

Cara Bloom holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa, which they obtained in 2006. In 2018, they obtained their Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, and their SCRUM Fundamentals from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In 2021, they obtained their Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ - World Headquarters. Cara is currently pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute.
