Hien Phan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing backend API services across various programming languages and frameworks. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Accumulus Synergy, Hien specializes in Kotlin and Spring Boot. Prior experience includes roles at Metromile and Loop Commerce, where Hien focused on Java/Spring Boot and Groovy/Grails technologies, respectively. Hien also has a solid background in Python and Django from work at Clover Health, and has contributed to both internal and external solutions at Veracyte, Inc. and McKesson, where leadership and team management skills were honed. Early career experience includes software development at Oncology Therapeutics Network and Bristol Myers Squibb, with foundational work at omix on HTML-based UI designs. Hien holds a BS in Sociology from Santa Clara University.

The single-platform approach aims to improve speed, transparencies and efficiencies in the regulatory process by leveraging advanced technology and tools for data exchange. This will help reduce the cost of innovation and ultimately bring patients safe and effective medicines faster.
