Shaobin Liu

Shaobin Liu started their work experience in 2008 as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, where they worked until 2013. Shaobin then joined Third Wave Systems as a Computational Mechanics Engineer from July 2013 to January 2014. In 2014, Shaobin Liu started working at Altair as a Software Engineer until May 2017, after which they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer until May 2021. Currently, Shaobin Liu is employed as a Senior Research Scientist at Accuray, starting from June 2021.

Shaobin Liu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Henan University of Science and Technology in an unspecified year before 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, they completed their highest level of education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they attended from 2008 to 2013.
