Dr. Johannes Palmer

Dr. Johannes Palmer has extensive experience in energy engineering and thermodynamics. Dr. Johannes began their career in 2007 as a Student Research Assistant at the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics at RWTH Aachen University. In 2010, they took on an Intern role at Daimler AG in the Department of Thermodynamics - Diesel Engines. Dr. Johannes also acted as a Student Teaching Assistant at the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics at RWTH Aachen University. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Associate and PhD Student at the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer, RWTH Aachen University. Their research and development focused on thermodynamics of heat and mass transfer, with an emphasis on spray breakup and mixture formation of renewable biofuels. Dr. Johannes applied and developed new laser-optical methods for their experiments. In 2019, they joined en2Aix - energy engineering Aachen GmbH as an Energy Engineer. In 2020, they became the COO & Co-Founder of ACCURE Battery Intelligence.

Dr. Johannes Palmer received their Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2019. Prior to that they received their Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.Wirt.Ing) in Economics from RWTH Aachen University in 2012, and their Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2012. Dr. Palmer also studied abroad in Mechanical Engineering and Economics at UC Santa Barbara between 2008 and 2009.
