Matthew Besch has a long and varied work experience. Matthew started their career in 1994 as an Associate Editor for American Football Quarterly. In 1997, they became a Graduate Assistant for Wichita State University, where they designed and maintained the official website for the Wichita State Athletic Department. In 1998, they took on a Graduate Assistant role for the Denver Broncos Football Organization. In 2000, they became a Captain for Danger Charters. In 2005, they founded IYHA. In 2010, they became the Publisher of The Galley Publications, where they managed sales, design, and distribution with a circulation of more than 120,000. In 2013, they became the Director of Marketing Communications for ARCA, where they led a team of professionals in constructing, planning, and executing a global marketing strategy. In 2017, they became the NA Energy Vertical Marketing Manager for Sensus, where they were responsible for orchestrating the go-to-market strategy for metrology, communications technology, software applications, and services. In 2022, they became the Director of Marketing for North America for ACCURE Battery Intelligence and the Director of Utilities Marketing for Ubicquia.
Matthew Besch has a Master of Education in Sports Administration from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations & Print Journalism from Kansas State University. Matthew has also obtained several certifications, including Voice of the Customer from Applied Marketing Science in October 2021, Certified Marketer Level 1 (CM1) Credential from General Assembly in April 2021, ICAgile Certified Professional - Agility in Marketing from ICAgile in May 2020, Cornell University Executive Leadership Certificate from eCornell in April 2014, and Rhythm Fan Certification from Rhythm Systems, Inc.
