Sam Holland has a wide range of experience in the healthcare and insurance industry. From 1995 to 2001, Sam worked as a Senior Management Consultant at McDonald Consulting Group. In 2001, Sam joined Accident Fund Insurance Company of America as Vice President of Quality Improvement and played a crucial role in transforming the organization into a preferred company within the industry. Sam then took on the role of President & Chief Clinical Officer at Summit Pharmacy Solutions, where they successfully built the company from scratch in just nine months. They focused on the Workers Compensation market and implemented processes to manage day-to-day operations and customer service. Afterward, Sam worked as a Principal Strategic Problem Solving Consultant at QA Consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and state agencies on insurance and cost containment strategies. Currently, Sam is the Vice President of Account Management at accūrō Solutions, starting in 2022.

Sam Holland's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Drake University. This was obtained from 1978 to 1982. Later, from 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Science degree with a focus on Management at Indiana Wesleyan University. Following this, they attended Walden University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences. Lastly, Sam Holland became a Wharton Fellow at The Wharton School from 2003 to 2008, although the field of study for this fellowship is not provided.
