Javier García Labanda has been working in the engineering field since 2016. In 2016, they were a Barman at Red Hot World Buffet and Bar. In 2017, they were a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where they designed and modified a DIY 3D printer, conducted chemical and biological research, and collaborated on an Android App project for disinfection of mobile screens. In 2020, they became the Electronics Engineering Technician at IMDEA Materials Institute, where they were Head of the Electronics Department and provided mechatronic and CAD design support to the 16 research groups. Javier also automated and integrated sensors in robotic systems. In 2022, they started working at Floatech as an Associate Technician, and they are currently a Senior Project Engineer at AccuSentry Inc, where they are responsible for managing, developing, and installing projects for European clients, offering vision technology and inspection solutions that give manufacturing enterprises the insight needed to steer their processes towards higher efficiencies.

Javier García Labanda completed a Degree in Industrial Technologies from the Universidad de Málaga in 2015. In 2016, they attended a Language school in Leeds, United Kingdom for an Intensive English Course. In 2017, they attended a Language immersion course in English at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and obtained an Advanced level (C1) in oral communication skills. Javier also obtained a B1 Preliminary English Test (PET) from Cambridge Assessment English in 2014. In 2019, they completed a Master's in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Málaga.
