Tom Diefenderfer

Global Vice President, General Manager at AccuTec

Tom Diefenderfer has a strong background in sales and management, with experience in various industries. Tom currently holds the position of Global Vice President and General Manager at AccuTec Blades, Inc., where they are responsible for corporate digital marketing, customer service, and the overall profitability of the Professional and Safety Divisions. Tom leads a team of 33 employees and manages distribution channels such as Home Center, eCommerce, OEM, Flooring Wholesale, and more.

Prior to their current role, Tom worked at Gerber as Vice President of Sales and Director of Sales and Business Development. In these positions, they were responsible for managing sales teams, data analytics, and customer service. Tom also played a key role in developing the Professional Channel, opening new accounts, and expanding the Government strategy.

Tom has also worked at BDP International as Director of Sales, North America, where they developed and executed strategic plans for market penetration in the Retail and Consumer Product Goods industries. Tom implemented global best practices and had market responsibility for mass merchants, specialty retail, and CPG manufacturers.

Before that, Tom held various roles at Ames True Temper, including Regional Sales Manager, National Account Manager, and National Merchandise Manager. Tom was responsible for managing sales across different product categories and working closely with The Home Depot. Tom also developed and executed strategic action plans, pricing strategies, and promotional programs.

Tom started their career at Addison-Wesley/Benjamin Cummings as a Sales Representative and then moved on to Lutron Electronics, where they held roles as Senior Sales Representative and Marketing Representative.

Overall, Tom brings a wealth of experience in sales, management, and strategic planning across multiple industries and distribution channels.

Tom Diefenderfer obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Dickinson College, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. Later on, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from Saint Joseph's University - Erivan K. Haub School of Business between 2007 and 2009.
