Carolyn Purcell has extensive work experience in the media industry. Carolyn currently holds a role as the Director of Editorial Content & Special Programming at AccuWeather, where they previously served as the Director of Special Programming and an Editorial & Programming Consultant. Prior to their time at AccuWeather, Carolyn founded Sweet P Media and worked as a Coordinating Producer at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Carolyn also had a successful tenure at Verizon, where they held multiple roles, including Sr. Executive Producer, Director of Programming, and Executive Producer for the Verizon FiOS1 News Networks. Before that, they held positions at Turner and CBS News/MSNBC as a Senior Executive Producer, Executive Producer, and Producer respectively. Carolyn brings a wealth of experience in content strategy, programming, and production and has received numerous industry awards throughout their career.

Carolyn Purcell earned a Master of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University. Carolyn also obtained a certification in Negotiation Strategies from Columbia Business School.
