Doug Honikel

Doug Honikel started their work experience as a Web Developer at Telebyte Inc. in 1998. Doug then worked as a Senior Developer at Airtis from 2000 to 2001, where they were responsible for designing and developing a real-time traffic and weather site. In 2001, they joined Abacus Search as a Senior Developer until 2003. From 2003 to 2018, Doug worked at Cox Communications in various roles including Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director. In these roles, they managed various testing efforts, established continuous integration and automation practices, and implemented mobile and device automation initiatives. In 2018, Doug joined AccuWeather as the Senior Vice President of Technology.

Doug Honikel attended Penn State University from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2007 to 2008, they returned to Penn State University, but the specific field of study or degree obtained is unknown. Doug also completed the Android Basics Nanodegree by Google and the Intro to DevOps program at Udacity in 2016 and 2017, respectively. In 1991 to 1995, Doug Honikel attended John H. Glenn High School. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Managing Virtual Teams from LinkedIn in 2020.
