Brian Callahan

Brian Callahan serves as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at the Alliance for Chemical Distribution since August 2021, having previously held roles as Vice President and Senior Director of Legislative Affairs within the same organization. Prior experience includes Government Affairs Manager at the National Safety Council and Congressional Relations Director at The Borgen Project, where Brian developed key relationships with congressional staff on international development issues. Notably, during tenure as Policy and Advocacy Director at the Global Campaign for Education-US, Brian advocated for the passage of bipartisan legislation to enhance global basic education oversight and secured steady funding for education programs across multiple administrations. Brian's earlier roles included advocacy positions at the American Federation of Teachers and internships in Congressional offices. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from San Francisco State University.
