Maura Allen

Maura Allen is chief program officer at ACDI/VOCA. She leads a portfolio that includes project management and operations divisions, business development, and awards and compliance. She previously served as an executive director overseeing a portfolio of projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to that she served as a managing director of community development and began her career with ACDI/VOCA as a senior director of financial services. Before joining ACDI/VOCA in 2008, Maura worked for Chemonics International, International Executive Service Corps, and Counterpart International. She began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal. She holds a master’s degree in international transactions from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Michigan State University.
