Daniel Howill

Application Developer at ACD Systems

Daniel Howill has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2005. Daniel began their career as a Technician at Nexus Technologies in 2005, where they were responsible for building custom PCs and modifying as-built electrical drawings using AutoCAD software. In 2009, they moved to PBA Engineering as a Junior Engineer, where they were tasked with reviewing electrical design drawings and gathering information for clients. In 2010, they joined Acciona Lark Joint Venture as a Low Voltage Package Coordinator, managing communications between consultants, contractors and clients. In 2011, they returned to ACD Systems as a Software Developer, developing features for a mature consumer-based Windows application using C++ and working with the SCRUM project management style. In 2013, they moved to ParetoLogic Inc. as a Software Developer, before returning to ACD Systems in 2014, where they remain in the same role.

Daniel Howill attended the University of Victoria from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Camosun College from 2008 to 2008, where they earned an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Bridge. Before that, they attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Technical Diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology.
