Carter Cheek

Carter Cheek has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carter currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Commercial Water at Ace Fluid Solutions, a leading provider of downhole products, stimulation chemicals, and water services to the oilfield industry in the Permian Basin. Prior to this, Carter served as President, Water Midstream at Terra Oilfield Services from 2020 to 2021.

Carter joined Fluid Delivery Solutions as the Executive Vice President, Water Resources in 2016 through the acquisition of Texas Groundwater Surveyors, a company they founded. Fluid Delivery Solutions specializes in oilfield water management and provides services to E&P companies in shale plays across multiple states.

Before entering the oilfield industry, Carter was the Managing Partner at Big Country Water Services from 2014 to 2017. Carter founded Texas Groundwater Surveyors in 2015 and served as the company's founder until 2016. Carter started their professional career at Alsbridge, where they held the positions of Director of Client Relations from 2013 to 2014 and Financial Consultant from 2011 to 2013.

Carter's early career includes serving in the US Army in various roles, including Combat Advisor, Long Range Surveillance Company Operations Officer, Rifle Platoon Leader, and Battalion Recon Platoon Leader. Carter served in the army from 2006 to 2012.

Carter Cheek completed their Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University between 2002 and 2006. Carter then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Texas McCombs School of Business, graduating between 2016 and 2018.
