Oscar Kneppers

Oscar Kneppers has had a diverse and successful career in entrepreneurship and media. Oscar is currently the CEO of ACE (Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship), where they support and trains students, researchers, and academics to build and grow their tech or science-based business ideas.

In 2022, Kneppers founded and served as a board member for Het Nieuwe Nederlandse Wol Instituut, which aims to restore the connection between makers and users.

Prior to that, in 2020, they founded House of Origen, a project focused on craftsmanship and restoring the relationship between makers and users.

Kneppers also held various governance roles since 2010 and founded Iconomy, a company that specializes in entrepreneurship, media, and innovation. Oscar has also worked as a speaker and expert in entrepreneurship, media, and innovation at TheNextSpeaker.

In 2018, Kneppers took a sabbatical before founding and leading Rockstart, a startup accelerator-VC that supports startups in the domains of Energy, Health, AgriFood, and Emerging Technologies.

Before that, they founded Bright, a Netherlands-based technology and design magazine that targets urban innovators, and Emerce, a multichannel media platform that focuses on online business and marketing.
