Tim Degroot

Tim DeGroot is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Layout Engineer at Ace Metal Crafts Company since August 2017, Tim has previously held key positions such as VAVE Mechanical Engineer at IDEX Corporation-The Fitzpatrick Company and Manufacturing Engineer at both Nu-Way Industries, Inc. and Fabrication Technologies. Early career experience includes roles as Approval Drawing Engineer at Elkay Manufacturing and Mechanical Designer at IDEX Corporation-Fluid Management. Tim began a career in engineering as a Mechanical Engineer at Bowe Bell + Howell. Tim holds an Associate in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Harper College and completed secondary education at Buffalo Grove High School.
